My first update

This is my first ho 4x8 train layout. As you can see, its not complete, so illjust call it an update. Ummmm, were to start. I used bachmann easy track for the track design. Instead of using it like it is, i ballasted it, and painted the ties and spikes. I painted the ties a brown, and i colored the spikes a rusty color. i was inspired to build an actuall layout by my grandpa, he has a n scale layout. Ive been in love with trains since i was born, so i couldnt resist. The restauront you see in atlas brand, and i used woodland scenics for the grass, bushes, trees, and about everything else. I painted and put together everyhting you see except the trains them-selves. I plan on having more people than you'll see in this next picture.

So much for that, now the top picture. As you can see, i still have to tidy up the stripes, but for now, you get the idea. You can see a few people, theres more than the eye can see, but you'll notice the girl that fell over. I need to fix that, i do have a lake, but i dont have a picture of it. Im modeling a main street theme, not much right now, but tommorro im geeting more pepole, and ill fill the streets up with cars and signs. i have a super market, a fire station, police station, a restaurant, and a little repair store. in the next picture you'll see my first part of the layout that was first made.

If you look at the top one, that is my cut out. i have a csx GP-50 -2 bachmann running. I am turning to dcc in a few days as well. right next to this is wear the lumber yard is, ill have more pictures tommorro. Thanks for reading and please oh please comment and give me ideas. THanks!!!!
